Job Description

As part of our rapid growth, we are now looking to recruit an IT Support Technician. This will involve first line support, setting up laptops including installing software, creating new users accounts, email accounts, password resets and Windows applications support. You will be responsible for helping to fix and troubleshoot user hardware and software issues, ordering hardware supplies and liaising with 3rd parties where appropriate. As a Support Technician, you will have great communication skills, as well as good time-management and a positive attitude. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop technical and non-technical skills and to work in a fast-paced environment.

There’s no set profile for a recruit and ticking every box on this list is not a pre-requisite, but evidence of some will definitely help your application:
•Experience of, or a keen interest in IT and technology
•Experience of fixing technical issues hardware/desktop or software (for yourself, family and friends or as part of your computer studies).
•Experience of, or a keen interest in business.
•Experience or knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office.
•Knowledge, experience or interest in data security, protection and compliance
•Great self-starting attitude and keen to join an entrepreneurial organisation where every working day is different
•Strong communication skills including excellent telephone manner
•A desire to solve problems, with the determination to keep coming back to a problem till it is nailed
This role would suit someone with a proven interest in IT who is technically minded and experienced or interested in Software, Networking and PC Hardware with a positive attitude and a keen eye for problem solving and customer service


You’ll need to have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s grade A – C (or equivalents) (including English and Maths), including one in a computer-related subject and an aptitude for technology.


Your time with us will give you a great start to your IT career and it is anticipated that you will progress into a role where you can complete a Level 4 Apprenticeship and then onto a Degree Apprenticeship if you desire.
